Résumé: نسعى من خلال هذه المداخلة إلى مقاربة جديدة لتحليل رواية "كتاب الأمير" لواسيني الأعرج في ضوء نظرية التلقي معتمدة في ذلك على بعض ما ثمّنته من مفاهيم إجرائية ولاسيما ما حدّده "هانس روبرت ياوس" لـ "أفق الانتظار" الكاشف عن سبب استمرارية هذه الرواية وحيويتها. وكذا البحث عن العلل التي تُسهم في إعادة قراءة الرواية وفق القراءة التأويلية التي توسّع المعنى انطلاقا من تحديد أفق انتظار القراء. the aim of this paper is to present a new vision of analyzing the novel “the prince” by Waciny Larej in the light of the theory of aesthetic reception of Hans Robert Jauss harizon of expectation.we want to show the reasons for the continuity and vitality of this novel. Our other aim in this paper is to look for solutions that can help in the re-reading the novel according to an interpretative reading that expands meaning
