Résumé: أقدمت السّلطات الاستعمارية في الجزائر على تطبيق سياسة استعمارية شملت مختلف المجالات السّياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والعمرانية ،والتّي تمثّلت ملامح هذه الأخيرة في إنشاء العديد من التّجمعات العمرانية ،التّي أخذت في بدايتها شكل مراكز استيطانية ثمّ تطوّرت مع مرور الوقت إلى أن أخذت ملامح مدن كبيرة ذات طابع عمراني ومعماري كولونيالي ومؤدية العديد من الوظائف السّياسية والإدارية والاقتصادية وغيرها ، ونحن في هذه الدّراسة نحاول تسليط الضّوء على العلاقة بين العمارة الكولونيالية والنّزعة الاستعمارية أثناء تشيّيد وبناء المدن في الجزائر خلال الفترة الاستعمارية مركزين على مدينة مستغانم كنموذج. كلمات مفتاحية: العمارة الكولونيالية؛المدن الجديدة ؛السّياسة العمرانية الفرنسية ؛النّزعة الجمالية ؛مدينة مستغانم. The colonial authorities in Algeria emplacement a colonial policy that included various political, social and urban spheres .the features of the latter were represented in the establishment of many urban communities that initially took the form of settlement centers and then developed over time until they took on the features of large cities of an urban, architectural and colonial nature, performing many political, administrative, economic and other functions.
