Effet Des Ajouts Mineraux Actifs Et Inertes Sur Les Proprietes Physiques, Mecaniques Et Chimiques Du Mortier
Résumé: This thesis is an experimental study of the effect of four (04) finely crushed local mineral admixtures (active and inert): - Blast furnace Slag of El-Hadjar (Annaba), - natural pouzzolan of Beni saf (Ain Témouchent), - limestone of Hassi Messaoud (Ouargla), - and dunes sand of El-Oued on the properties of mortar. These additions are ground at a fineness nearly to that of the used cement, and incorporated into the mortar with predetermined percentages (of the weight of cement), in order to perform the physico-mechanical characteristics and durability of mortar. Substitutions approved rates - on the basis of previous studies- are: 20% of slag, 15% of pozzolan, 10% of limestone fines and 10% of crushed sand dunes. We found an improvement in physical, mechanical and chemical performances (durability) of all mortar compositions. The study of durability has been in several stages: the effect of chemical attacks of sulfuric and Hydrochloric acids (H2SO4 and HCl) on the characteristics of submerged mortars, capillary absorption, ultrasonic testing. An analysis by XRD and observations under SEM, The study showed the beneficial effect of the four additions on the microstructure, especially crushed dune sand which has produced very encouraging results.
