Résumé: الملخص: يسعى هذا المقال للإجابة على السؤال الرئيسي التالي: كيف تساهم الجباية البيئية في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في الجزائر في ظل التحديات الراهنة؟ إن البيئة ومكوناتها هي أساس الحياة ومصدر جل المواد والموارد، وعلى الرغم من أهميتها فقد تجاهلتها النظريات الاقتصادية ولم تولها أي اعتبار، وبالرغم من جهود بعض المفكرين لإعطاء البيئة أهميتها في ظل تزايد توسع الصناعي مما جعلها لا تلقى أي استجابة من طرف صناع القرار، وجاءت الجباية البيئية لتصحيح فشل نظام السوق وتعطي أسعار لموارد البيئة،حيث يترتب على كل من يقوم بأنشطة اقتصادية من شأنها أن تنتج مخرجات سواء كانت منتجات أو مخلفات وتضر بالبيئة، عليه أن يستجيب لأداة من أدوات الجباية البيئية وذلك في سبيل تحفيزه على التقليل من حجم المخرجات الملوثة لها. Summary: This article aims to answer the following main question: how does the collection of the environment contribute to the realization of economic and social development in Algeria under the current challenges?
