Résumé: يعاني الطفل في المراحل العمرية المبكرة والمتوسطة من العديد من المشكلات، إذ تتنوع هذه المشكلات لتشمل عدد من الاضطرابات التي تنعكس بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر على جوانب حياتهم الشخصية والاجتماعية والأكاديمية، ومن هذه الاضطرابات فرط الحركة المصحوب بقصور الانتباه والاندفاعية حيث بعد كل من اضطراب قصور الانتباه والاندفاعية عرض من الأعراض الرئيسية شائعة الظهور عند الأطفال المصابين باضطراب فرط الحركة، وإذا تم التهاون في تشخيصها وعلاجها أو التكفل بالتلاميذ الذين يعانون منها قد يؤدي ذلك إلى مشاكل تربوية أبرزها ضعف التحصيل الدراسي، أو حتى الرسوب المدرسي، وقد تؤدي أيضا إلى متاعب داخل الأسرة لذا ركزنا في مداخلتنا هذه على مشاكل وخصائص أطفال ذوي تشتت الانتباه وفرط النشاط الحركي والمعايير الأساسية للتشخيص، وتم التطرق إلى مفهوم تشتت الانتباه وفرط النشاط الحركي، وأيضا التطرق إلى الأبعاد الأساسية لمعايير التشخيص، وأيضا خصائص ومشاكل الأطفال ذوي تشتت الانتباه،وعوامل تشتت الانتباه وبعض المداخل العلاجية وفي أخير الخروج بمجموعة من التوصيات.
