Résumé: يعالج هذا المقال تاريخ البحرية الجزائرية من حيث تطورها تاريخيا منذ العصر الإسلامي وحتى الفترة العثمانية في الجزائر وما اكتسبته من مكانة دولية كبيرة ، كما يعالج الدور الجزائري اللافت من خلال بحريتها في انقاذ الأندلسيين ودعمهم ماديا ومعنويا ، بل وحتى عسكريا من خلال مقاومتهم للنصارى في الأندلس ، وذلك وفق مخططات وإستراتيجية منظمة ساهمت كثيرا في مد يد العون للأندلسيين بعد سقوط غرناطة سنة 1492م. This article deals with the history of the Algerian navy in terms of its historical development from the Islamic era until the Ottoman period in Algeria and what it gained from a great international prestige. It also deals with the remarkable Algerian role through its navy in saving the Andalusians and supporting them financially and morally, and even militarily through their resistance to the Christians in Andalusia. This is according to plans and an organized strategy that contributed a lot to extending a helping hand to the Andalusians after the fall of Granada in 1492 AD.
