Résumé: ملخص: إن ظاهرة التمدن والتمدين تعتبر أرقى إنجاز توصل إليه الإنسان، فهي وليدة الحضارة أو أنها الحضارة في حد ذاتها، وهي تتميز بخصائص حضارية عامة كانت نتاجا لعدة شروط يجب مراعاتها في تأسيس المدن، و المدينة الإسلامية هي انعكاسا لنظام عقائدي و اجتماعي و ثقافي فنسيجها الحضاري وتكوينها الفضائي جاء نتيجة لتفاعل الإنسان مع بيئته الحضارية تحت مفهوم عام هو الإسلام، وتعد يثرب النواة الأولى للمدينة الإسلامية ، وفيها تم تهيئة المجتمع الإسلامي الجديد على ضوء قيم الإسلام وتعاليمه . وقد أصبحت المدينة المنورة فيما بعد نموذجا للمدن الإسلامية الأخرى التي تم تأسيسها موازاة مع تواصل الفتوحات الإسلامية كالبصرة و الكوفة و واسط والقيروان، وأصبحت مراكز حضارية كبرى وعواصم للدول الإسلامية التي تأسست فيما بعد . كلمات مفتاحية: الأمصار، المدينة ، الحضارة ، المعسكر، يثرب : Abstract The phenomenon of urbanization and sedentariness is considered the finest achievement reached by man, as it is the product of civilization or it is civilization in itself. It came as a result of man's interaction with his civilized environment under a general concept of Islam, and Yathrib is the first nucleus of the Islamic city, in which the new Islamic society was prepared in the light of the values and teachings of Islam. Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah later became a model for other Islamic cities that were established in parallel with the continuation of the Islamic conquests such as, -al-Baṣrah-Kūfa, Wāsiṭ and Kiroun, and they became major cultural centers and capitals of the Islamic states that were founded later.
