Résumé: الملخص: عندما فتح المسلمون الأندلس وجدوا عددا قليلا من سكانها على الديانة اليهودية، بينما الغالبية العظمى منهم مسيحيون على المذهب الكاثوليكي، فاعتنق بعضهم الإسلام وبقيت أعداد كبيرة على نصرانيتهم، وفضلوا العيش تحت حكم المسلمين. عامل المسلمون نصارى الأندلس معاملة حسنة وفق ما تنص عليه الآيات القرآنية الكريمة والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وأقوال السلف الصالح، فتركوا لهم كنائسهم وأديرتهم، ومنحوهم حرية أداء طقوسهم التعبدية، مثل قرع الأجراس داخل الكنائس وخارجها، وظلت الكنائس في الأندلس تقوم بوظيفتها الاجتماعية المتمثلة في عقد الزيجات، وتعميد المواليد واختيار الأسماء لهم، وتسجيل المبايعات والعقود بين المسيحيين، بل اكتسبت الكنيسة الأندلسية خلال الوجود الإسلامي استقلاليتها عن روما مركز البابوية. كما تمتع المسيحيون بحرية تسيير شؤونهم الإدارية، إذ كانوا ينتخبون قمامستهم وقضاتهم بكل حرية ودون تدخل من الحكام المسلمين، وكان هؤلاء المنتخبون يمثلونهم لدى السلطة الحاكمة. زيادة على ذلك استعان المسلمون بنصارى الأندلس في إدارة البلاد، بحيث استشاروهم في مسائل حساسة تتعلق بأمن الأندلس، وأخذوا برأيهم، ووظفوهم في مناصب سامية مثل الكتابة والوزارة، وجندوهم في الجيش، بل وصل بعضهم إلى أعلى المراتب العسكرية، كما اتخذ بعض حكام الأندلس فرقا عسكرية من النصارى لحمايته، ووضع فيهم ثقة كبيرة. من خلال ذلك يمكن القول بأن نصارى الأندلس عاشوا أحسن أوقاتهم في زل الحكم الإسلامي خلال الفترة المذكورة أعلاه. Abstract: When muslims conquered Andalusia, they met the local inhabitants some were Jews and the vast majority were christians practising the catholic doctrine. Some of them embraced Islam, but big numbers remained on their christianity and preferred to live under muslim rule. Muslims treated christians of Andalusia very well according to a number of verses of the Koran, hadiths of the Prophet and sayings of the godly ancestors, so they left the christians their churches and their monasteries, and they gave them the freedom to perform their worship rituals as the ringing of bells inside and outside churches. The Churche continued its social mission in Andalusia as celebrating marriage contracts, baptizing newly born christians and registering sales contracts among christians. On top of this, the Andalusian church gained its independence from the papacy center in Rome during the Islamic rule. Christians were also free to run their administrative affairs, they elected their earls and judges to represent them at the ruling authority without any muslim rulers’interference. Muslims also used the christians of Andalusia in managing the country, so they consulted them on sensitive issues concerning the security of Andalusia.They considered their opinions and employed them in high positions such as writing ( al Kitaba ) and ministry. They recruited them into the army, so some of them reached the highest military ranks, and some muslim rulers of Andalusia took military troops of christians and gained every confidence in them. To sum it up, we can say that the christians of Andalusia lived their best time under the islamic rule in the mentioned above period.
