Chatgpt: The Innovation Of Artificial Intelligence In Online Assessment Within An E- Learning Environment
Résumé: Abstract: (not more than 10 Lines) The brainwave of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is becoming ever more relevant, and the impact s of its exploit on online education and assessment is a subject of great significance to researchers and teachers. ChatGPT is one such AI model that has been trained on a considerable quantity of text data to construct human-like answers to questions with alacrity. Considering the theory of disruptive innovation as groundwork for our contention, this academic article probes the prospect and possible limitation of ChatGPT in online assessment. This article also allows for the ethical and pedagogical implications of utilizing ChatGPT, chiefly concerning online assessment in an e-learning environment. This article aspires to enhance the continuing discussion and debate about the use of AI in university distance education and assessment, underlining the necessity for sustained research and analytical valuation of its impacts.
