Résumé: Umberto Eco has attached great importance to the metaphor which he linked to the encyclopedia Eco also attributed to the metaphor a cognitive function between the poetic metaphor and the naïve metaphor based on the knowledge brought by each of them. He also established a relationship between metaphor and the question of interpretation as a result to the semiotics of Charles sanders peirce and deconstruction of j. Derrida.
