Résumé: لم يكن الطب الشعبي بالجزائر مجرد مهنة أو أداء يقوم به الممارس لأساليب العلاج الشعبي بمختلف الطرق والأدوات البسيطة والمعقدة،الطبيعية والغيبية، بل كان فنا اعترف به العلماء الأجانب من أطباء وباحثين في وصفهم للظواهر الاجتماعية بالمجتمع الجزائري التي استمرت على مر سنين مكتسبة جيلا عن جيل،إذ اختفت ظواهر عديدة منها ، وصمدت أغلب الأساليب التي يمتلك فيها الفرد الجزائري الثقة والفاعلية العلاجية لمختلف الأمراض واكتسبت بذلك مكانتها بذهنيات الناس وسلوكاتهم،حيث وصفها الأطباء بأنها علم ومهنة احترفها ذووا الأساليب البدائية من مجتمع يملك فنا طبيا لعلاج أمراضه بأشكال متميزة وبطرق طبيعية وغيبية وحيوانية متميزة.Folk medicine in Algeria was not just a profession or performance by the practitioner of these folk methods in various simple and complex ways and tools, naturalistic and metaphysical, but was an art recognized by foreign scholars, including doctors and researchers in the ethnography of social phenomena in Algerian society, which continued over the years, acquired generation after generation. Many phenomena have disappeared from them, and most of the methods in which the Algerian individual has confidence and curative effectiveness for various diseases have survived, and they have steadily gained their place in people's minds and behaviors
