The Impact Of Financial System Activities On Non-oil Tax Revenue Collection In Algeria: Application Of Ardl Approach
Résumé: The main purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of financial system activities on Non-Oil tax revenue collection in Algeria for the period 1999 to 2017, using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL). The results showed that there was no relationship between financial development indicators (stock market development, banking sector development) and Non-Oil tax revenue. In the short-run, only the credit to private sector has a positive and significant impact on the generating non-oil tax revenues, while credit to public sector has an insignificant impact. Furthermore, the stock market development has a weak negative impact.
