Impact Of Financial Innovation In Banks On Financial Performance - Dubai Islamic Bank As A Model - : Ardl Approach (2013-2023)

Résumé: Financial innovation is one of the important topics that requires significant attention and in-depth analysis. Therefore, this study aims to highlight the impact of financial innovation on the financial performance of Dubai Islamic Bank during the period 2013-2023, using the Distributed Autoregressive Model (ARDL) Financial innovation indicators were represented by investments in Sukuk (IS), Murabaha (MRH), Musharakah (MSH), and Ijarah (IJR), while the financial performance indicator was represented by net profit margin (NPM). The results of the study found a positive, statistically significant effect at the level of 5% for financial innovation on the financial performance of Dubai Islamic Bank, and this indicates the existence of a co-integration relationship in the short and long term, which highlights the importance of embracing financial innovations in the banking sector. الابتكار المالي هو أحد الموضوعات المهمة التي تتطلب اهتماما كبيرا وتحليلا معمقا، لذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة لإبراز أثر الابتكار المالي على الأداء المالي لبنك دبي الإسلامي خلال الفترة 2013-2023، باستخدام نموذج الانحدار الذاتي الموزع (ARDL)، تمثلت مؤشرات الابتكار المالي في، الاستثمار في الصكوك (IS) والمرابحة (MRH) والمشاركة (MSH) والإجارة (IJR)، بينما مؤشر الأداء المالي تمثل في هامش الربح الصافي(NPM). توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود أثر إيجابي ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة 5٪ للابتكار المالي على الأداء المالي لبنك دبي الإسلامي، وهذا يشير إلى وجود علاقة تكامل مشترك على المديين القصير والطويل، مما يبرز أهمية احتضان الابتكارات المالية في القطاع المصرفي.
