Résumé: ملخص: ينطلق المستشرقون في التأسيس لأصول النثر العربي القذيم على فكرة أن العربي مادي ضيق الخيال ، جامد العواطف لا يمكنه توظيف العمليات العقلية للإنتاج و الإبداع الفكري أو الأدبي باستثناء البعض منهم على النحو الذي نحاه المستشرق ريجس بلاشير في دراسته حول نشأة النثر الفني العربي وكذا البحث في عوامل هذه النشأة والخصائص التي تميز هذا اللون الأدبي، مستشهدا لافي كثير من الأحيان ببعض نصوص علماء العرب القدامى للاحتجاج بصحة دعواه.
