أثر التحول الرقمي على كفاءة المصارف الإسلامية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي

Résumé: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر التحول الرقمي على كفاءة 27 مصرفا إسلاميا في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي خلال الفترة 2015-2021 باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ونماذج البانل. توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه لا توجد علاقة معنوية بين مؤشر التحول الرقمي ومؤشر كفاءة المصارف الإسلامية خلال الفترة المدروسة؛ نظرا لقصر الفترة الزمنية وتبني أغلب المصارف الإسلامية إستراتيجية التحول الرقمي مع أزمة كورونا، بينما التحول الرقمي يتطلب تكاليف كبيرة على المدى القصير ولكن نتائجه وآثاره لا تظهر إلا على المدى المتوسط والطويل. أوصت الدراسة المصارف الإسلامية بضرورة مواصلة التحول الرقمي حتى تجني نتائجه الايجابية في المستقبل. This research aims to examine the relationship between digital transformation and the efficiency of 27 Islamic banks in Gulf Cooperation Council countries over the 2015–2021 period using an analytical descriptive approach and panel data. The study found that there was no significant relationship between the digital transformation index and the efficiency index of the Islamic banks. This result is due to the short study period and the fact that the majority of Islamic banks implemented a digital transformation plan in response to the Corona crisis. While digital transformation entails significant near-term costs, its effects and outcomes only become apparent over the medium and long term. The study suggested that Islamic banks should keep up with the digital transformation process.
