صيانة التنوع الحيوي و دوره في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة

Résumé: الملخص: أدى تزايد عدد سكان العالم واستغلالهم المفرط للموارد الطبيعية على مدى آلاف السنين إلى تدهور واضح في البيئة وتراجع التنوع البيولوجي على الصعيد العالمي، من المرّجح أن يهدد المستويان الإقليمي والوطني بقاء الإنسان والتنمية المستدامة. ساهمت المؤسسات الدولية في تنفيذ متطلبات الاتفاقيات الدولية بشأن الحاجة إلى حماية التنوع البيولوجي الدولي من خلال وضع مبادئ توجيهية لإستراتيجية دولية للتنوع البيولوجي، وتشمل الجمع بين الحفاظ على التنوع وإدارة الموارد البيولوجية واستخدام التقنيات الحديثة بشكل رشيد لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، كما أثار ظهور تقنيات التكنولوجيا الحيوية الحديثة أسئلة حول استخداماتها وتأثيراتها على الصحة والبيئة. Abstract: The growing population of the world and their over-exploitation of natural resources over thousands of years have led to a clear degration of the environment; the decline in biodiversity at global, regional and national levels is likely to threaten human survival and sustainable development international institutions have contributed to the implementation of the requirements of international conventions on the need to protect international biodiversity by setting out guidelines for an international biodiversity strategy; these in dude the combination of conserving diversity, managing biological resources and using modern technologies rationally to achieve sustainable development, the emergence of modern biotechnology techniques has raised questions about their uses and impacts on health and the environment.
