Etude De La Radioprotection Dans Le Service De Médecine Nucléaire De L’hôpital Mohamed Boudiaf Ouargla

Résumé: This work aims at a study on protection against ionizing radiation in the nuclear medicine department of the Mohamed Boudiaf hospital in Ouargla. In this study, we have discussed the basics of radiation physics, in particular the classification of radiation, as well as the biological effects of radiation, and we have determined some of the quantities used in this field. We also gave an overview of nuclear medicine and the most important devices used in this specialty, whether for treatment or diagnosis, and we talked about radiation protection, its principles and the fundamental laws that are applied to it, then we approached the most important devices specialized organizations in this field in addition to the protection tools, and the classification of the zones as mentioned in the declaration of the International Radiation Organization, and we concluded this work with the result of our practical work in the nuclear medicine department, where we explained the different means of protection against ionizing radiation which we learned about at the level of this department.
