Résumé: الملخص: كشفت الحفريات الأثرية عن وجود عظام بشرية تعود لملايين السنين، عثر عليها في الرواسب التي خلفتها البحيرات والمستنقعات والأنهار القديمة في الكثير من المواقع الأثرية. ولأن التعرية تقلل من هذه الطبقات الرسوبية القديمة، حيث تظهر لنا الحفريات شظايا صغيرة من العظام والأسنان، وهكذا تنتشر بقايا أسلافنا البشر البدائيين، حيث يبحث علماء الآثار عن أدلة عظمية تتعلق بأشكال بشرية تعود لفترة ما قبل التاريخ، من أجل دراستها من جانبها التشريحي والبيولوجي والبنيوي، وهو ما يطلق عليه اسم علم الباليوأنتربولوجيا، حيث اخترنا جمجمة اكتشفت بموقع "كاف أم تويزة" المحفوظة بمخازن متحف الباردو الوطني، أما الهيكل الزائد فهو محفوظ في مركز البحث في عصور ما قبل التاريخ، وهو ما جعلنا نقوم بالدراسة القياسية المترية للجمجمة فقط دون الهيكل الزائد، بهدف معرفة الخصائص المورفولوجية لها باتباع المنهجية القياسية المترية لعظام الجمجمة وبعد عملية الفحص الدقيق للعظام من خلال الدراسة الباليوباتولوجية، تم تشخيص بعض العاهات والاختلالات المرضية بمساعدة وسائل حديثة للتشخيص الطبي، ساعدنا على معرفة الحالة الصحية للمجتمعات القديمة، كما تسمح بإعطاء معلومات عن نمط عيش البشر في حقب ماضية وكذا أمراضهم و أسباب موتهم. Abstract Archaeological excavations revealed the presence of humanbones dating back millions of years, found in the sedimentsleft by ancientlakes, swamps and rivers in manyarchaeological sites. As erosionreducestheseancientsedimentarylayers, fossilsrevealsmall fragments of bones and teeth, and thus the remains of ourhumanancestors are spread among the primitives, as archaeologistssearch for boneevidencerelated to prehistorichumanforms, in order to studythemfromtheiranatomical, biological and structural aspects whichiscalledpaleoanthropology, wherewe chose a skulldiscovered at the “Kaa’fUmmTouizah” site, preserved in the reserves of the National Bardo Museum. As for the additional extra skeleton, itispreserved in the research center in prehistoric times, with the aim of knowingitsmorphologicalcharacteristics by following the standard metricmethodology of the bones of the skull. After a carefulexamination of the bonesthrough the paleopathologicalstudy, someimpairments and pathologicalimbalanceswerediagnosedwith the help of modern medical diagnostic methods, whichhelped us to know the healthstatus of ancientsocieties, and italsoallows us to give information about the humans’ way of life in pasteras, as well as theirdiseases and causes of death.
