Résumé: This study aimed to know the impact of the experience of using virtual trading on students, and to know the most important determinants of the limited participation puzzle, and to try to eliminate the ambiguity surrounding the aversion of individuals to participate in the stock exchange, in addition to highlighting some of the most important successful and pioneering international models and experiences in the field of investment awareness in The stock market, as the study aimed to identify the reality of investment awareness in Algeria, and the most important obstacles that limit investment education, in addition to knowing the most important requirements for the success of investment awareness programs for the Algerian financial market from the point of view of the study sample individuals. To achieve the objectives of the study, the questionnaire was relied upon as a study tool, as the study adopted the purposeful sampling method to identify 72 users of the virtual trading games platform in four countries (Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Egypt) were chosen on the basis of their experience, while the second tool of study related to a targeted questionnaire For specialists, an intentional sample of 71 individuals was targeted on the basis of having the appropriate knowledge and understanding of this topic, and the study concluded a set of results, the most important of which are: õ Effective investment awareness programs focus on developing behaviors and skills, not just transferring knowledge and information. õ Investment awareness requires long-term policies and programs to change investor behavior to protect them from fraud and deception. õ The stock market simulation software is one of the most successful educational programs. õ The virtual trading experience contributed to raising the knowledge level and controlling the deliberative psychology of the participating individuals. õ The inclusion of Islamic financial instruments on the Algiers Stock Exchange encourages participation in a market that operates in accordance with Islamic Sharia. õ Investor education and awareness programs provided by the Stock Market Regulatory and Supervision Committee need to be reviewed and updated. õ The Algiers Stock Exchange needs to develop information systems and benefit from successful international experiences in the field of investment awareness. Based on these results, the study concluded a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: õ Urging students to use virtual trading systems, and extend the idea to other financial programs for interactive learning. õ The necessity for the Algerian Stock Exchange to benefit from the successful Arab and international experiences in the field of investment awareness. õ Establishing institutes for investment awareness, training and raising the level of investment awareness throughout the country.
