Résumé: The study aimed to investigate the impact of the cooperative education strategy in developing of general and kinetic creative thinking skills, during the physical and sports education for middle school students. The study sample consisted of (70) students randomly distributed equally for two classrooms, in a middle school from Setif city. Where the first classroom was chosen as an experimental group applying on it the cooperative education strategy, while the traditional method was applied to the second classroom to represent a control group. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental method with quasi-experimental design was used. The results of the study were collected using two tests, the first of which was the general creative thinking test of “Abraham” (Translated to Arabic by Magdi Abdel Karim Habib) and the second was The creative thinking test of “Lamya Diwane”, after confirming the validity and reliability of the two tests. The study results showed that there were statistically significant differences in general creative thinking and in the skills of fluency and flexibility, for the benefit of the experimental group on which the cooperative education strategy was applied, while there were no differences in originality. The results also revealed differences in kinetic creative thinking and his three skills (fluency, flexibilityand originality) for the benefit of the same group. The results also showed no interaction between method and sex in the development of general and kinetic creative thinking .
