Résumé: This study aims to find out the nature of the relationship between the problem-solving method and the quality of psychological life among a sample of students from the University of KasdiMerbah and Ouargla, and to identify the level of both the problem-solving method and the quality of psychological life for the study sample, and to reveal the differences in the degrees of individuals according to the variable of gender and academic specialization. The descriptive correlative approach has been relied upon, for its suitability with the nature of the current study. In order to answer the questions of the study and test the validity of its hypotheses, the sample was drawn in a simple random way and consisted of 110 male and female students, and two tools were applied to them represented in the scale of problem solving method and the scale of psychological quality of life. the following results: There is a weak negative correlation between the problem-solving method and the quality of psychological life among a sample of students from the University of Ouargla. The level of problem-solving style of the university student is high. The level of psychological quality of life for a university student is high. There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the sample members on the problem-solving method scale due to the gender variable. There are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the sample members on the psychological quality of life scale due to the gender variable in favor of females. There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the sample members on the scale of problem solving style due to the academic specialization variable. There are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the sample members on the psychological quality of life scale due to the academic specialization variable in favor of the literary students.
