Résumé: Transformational leadership will be considered one of the sensitive topics that are of great importance within any organization. How not, and it is one of the most influential factors and links on the organization's trends towards development and advancement to better competitive positions and positions, as it places it is importance through it is prominent impact within the organizational change processes. The study aimed to clarify the relationship between transformational leadership and resistance to change, specifically it is for monitoring the effects of each dimension of transformational leadership dimensions on the phenomenon of change resistance . we used a questionnaire that distributed to 32 workers, and we also did an interview with a human resources official in order to Obtaining information about the reality of transformational leadership in the institution on the one hand, and on the other hand, about the causes of resistance to change in the SONALGAZ company medea. After obtaining the data we used a spss program to analyse our data colected , and finaly, we obtained the following results: - The dimension of individual consideration of transformational leadership had a more impact on the emplo yees of the Sonelgaz company - The dimension of inspirational motivation for transfor mational leadership had a lesse impact on employees comparing to other dimensions in the SONALGAZ company. III - the employees misinforme about the change and the goals of the change, that enough of information was the most important reason for the resistance to change in the organization under study. - It was also found th at transformational leadership does not affect the resistance to change in SONALGAZ company . At the end of this study, we have some recommendations: - The necessity of activating the internal communication policy for change project, that can make the workers able to realize the goals of the change, because the most important reason for resistance is the lack of information. - it is important to make attention to the organizational change in the SONALGAZ company, because it is considered a way to ensure the survival and continuity of the Algerian institution in an environment of uncertainty. - Develop and develop leadership capable of creating successful experiences for change, so that they become a moral asset for workers
