Importance Of Ppp Mechanism In Developing Of Local Investment In Algeria - Joint Ventures In Manufacturing Of Agricultural Equipment As Case Of Study

Résumé: This study aims to illustrate the mechanism of public-private sector partnership and its role in promoting and developing of local investment, by highlighting the Algerian experience in the agricultural equipment industries sector, through concluding partnership agreements and establishing joint ventures to manufacture agricultural equipment and machinery, which were carried out by subsidiaries of the Algerian group of mechanics AGM Holding Spa in partnership with three international companies, namely, SAMPO, a Finnish company specializing in the manufacture of combine harvesters, Galucho, a Portuguese company specializing in the manufacture of agricultural equipment related to soil works and agricultural transportation, and finally a partnership with the American giant AGCO, owner of the Massey Ferguson brand for the manufacture of agricultural tractors.
