Résumé: The topic of our research was the relationship between certain morphological characteristics and athletic performance of cycling athletes on the road, Cadets category, a study field for the amateurs’ sports club of El-Kantara town. The study aims to identify the the relationship between( hight, weight, and thigh sircumference) and the athletic performance of cycling athletes on the road, Cadets category, the study also aims to study learning the methods of measurement and field tests and the use of computational data in achieving results, in addition to that, drawing important morphological measurements in athletic performance of cycling athletes on the road, Cadets category, and also introducing the cycling sport on the road. The general hypothesis was as follows : There is a relationship between certain morphological characteristics and the athletic performance of cycling athletes, Cadets category, The sample consisted of ten cyclists who were selected in a deliberate manner from El Itihad Club of El-Kantara town, and their ages were between 15 and 16, where 10 of the 16 registered cyclists were selected in the 2018/2019 sports year. the proportion of the sample is one-third of the original community 33.33%, and the tools used are as follows : Measuring Tools: electronic detecting device for measuring weight and height, measuring tape to measure the circumference of the thigh muscle, in addition to tests using all the means necessary. To conclude, there is a relationships of a statistical significance between measurements (hight, weight, and thigh circumference), and the 60 m, 200 m, 4 km tests which are Positive relationships and their strength varies from measurement to another and from test to another, and we have reached to the conclusion that height and hip muscle are among the most important morphological characteristics that achieve a good level of athletic performance for cyclists on the road.
