Résumé: تغيرت اليوم أنماط العيش والتفكير في عصر الاتصال، فيقول البعض أننا ملزمون باتباع هذه التغيرات، ولو كلفنا الأمر الانسلاخ عن عادات وتقاليد المجتمع، وأمور كثيرة متعلقة بالتراث في شتى مجالات الحياة، وتتناول هذه الدراسة موضوعا غاية في الأهمية يتعلق أساساً بوسائل الإعلام والاتصال بمختلف أنواعها ودور التكنولوجيات والوسائط الجديدة للإعلام والاتصال في حماية التراث الثقافي الوطني وتثمينه، ونريد البحث في الموضوع خاصة مع تزايد الفكر القائل بكون التكنولوجيا بديل لكل ما هو كائن في الماضي، وعامل من عوامل اندثار الموروث الثقافي للشعوب، نريد بالضبط التفصيل في تقديم نماذج متنوعة تبرز توظيف تكنولوجيات الإعلام والاتصال في تحسيس الناس بأهمية التراث الثقافي، وكيفية تثمينه والتعريف به على المستوى الوطني والعالمي، ليتبين فعلا الدور الكبير للوسائط الجديدة في حماية التراث.
