Résumé: Environmental crime has become one of the most serious and dangerous forms of crime in our modern era, surpassing traditional crimes in its complexity and impact. It is considered a transnational organized crime capable of crossing the borders of the states where it is committed. In response to this growing threat, INTERPOL has taken a proactive role in combating environmental crime and tracking its perpetrators, with the aim of protecting future generations and ensuring the sustainability of our planet. Through its diverse technical and operational tools, INTERPOL utilizes its organizational framework to perform its role effectively in the field of environmental protection.
