قراءة في التطور الديموغرافي لمدينة الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني

Résumé: يشكل التطور الديمغرافي للمدن واحدة من الاهتمامات التي شغلت بال الدول، واهتمام الباحثين، قديما وحديثا، لما له من تأثير مباشر وملموس على واقع تلك الدول، اقتصاديا واجتماعيا وسياسيا وحتى عسكريا، ومدينة الجزائر بموقعها الاستراتيجي ومكانتها الخاصة قبل وخلال الفترة العثمانية وحتى بعدها، باعتبارها عاصمة البلاد، شهدت تطورا ونموا ديمغرافيا خلال المرحلة العثمانية،كان له الأثر الواضح في مختلف المناحي، وقد تحكمت في هذا التطور مجموعة من العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية والسياسية، كان لها انعكاسها ارتفاعا وتراجعا في مستوى ذلك النمو والتطور ونسبة الكثافة في المدينة. وتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى رصد وتتبع التطور الديمغرافي لمدينة الجزائر منذ دخول العثمانيين إليها سنة 1519م، وإلى عشية العدوان الفرنسي عليها العام 1830م. Abstract: The demographic change of cities constitutes one of the concerns that preoccupied countries, and the interest of researchers, in the past and in recent times, because of its direct and tangible impact on the reality of those countries, economically, socially, politically and even militarily, and the city of Algiers, with its strategic location and special position During and even after the Ottoman period, as the capital of the country, it witnessed demographic development and growth during the Ottoman period, as it had a clear effect in various aspects, and this was controlled by a group of natural, human and political factors, and their reflection had an increase and a decline in the level of that growth and development and the proportion of density in the city. This study seeks to monitor and track the demographic development of the city of Algiers since the Ottomans entered it in 1519 and until the eve of the French aggression against it in 1830.
