Résumé: الملخص: تعتبر بطاقة الأداء المتوازن نظام إدارة استراتيجي يساعد المؤسسة في تحديد الأهداف الاستراتيجية وربطها بالعمليات التشغيلية اليومية. مما يساهم في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمواجهة التغيرات الحاصلة في بيئتها، من خلال معرفة مكامن قوة المؤسسة التي عليها أن تركز فيها طاقاتها ومواردها. مما يجعل هذه البطاقة أداة فعالة لرسم وتنفيذ الخطط الاستراتيجية للمؤسسات المعاصرة. وعليه، تهدف هذه الورقة إلى دراسة الدور الفعال لتطبيق بطاقة الأداء المتوازن في تفعيل التخطيط الاستراتيجي في المؤسسات المعاصرة، من خلال قدرتها على نشر وتبسيط الاستراتيجية ومتابعة تنفيذها حتى الوصول إلى الأهداف المخططة، وقد تم عرض حالة شركة اتصالات السعودية التي حققت نجاحا معتبرا في تحقق أهدافها وتنفيذ خططها الاستراتيجية من خلال توظيف بطاقة الأداء المتوازن كأداة للتخطيط الاستراتيجي. Abstract: Balanced Scorecard is a strategic management system that helps organizations to identify strategic objectives and link them to daily operations. This contributes to taking the necessary measures to face the changes in their environment, by knowing the strengths in which to focus its energies and resources. This makes balanced scorecard an effective tool for drawing and implementing strategic plans for contemporary organizations. Accordingly, this paper aims to study the effective role of the application of balanced scorecard in the activation of strategic planning in contemporary organizations, through its ability to disseminate and simplify the strategy and follow-up its implementation until reaching the objectives planned. The case study of STC, which has achieved considerable success in achieving its objectives and implementing its strategic plans through the use of Balanced Scorecard as a strategic planning tool
