Résumé: Our water resources are threatened by a form of waste of pharmaceutical origin, which is not eliminated by conventional biological treatments and therefore ends up in treatment plants, in aquatic environments, and may be present even in drinking water. They thus constitute a potential long-term threat to health and the environment. It is therefore time to seriously deal with the elimination of these pollutants for this there it is must be to seek operations less knives • The preparation of the adsorbent material in order to improve its adsorption capacity by increasing its specific surface and bringing it closer to that of commercial activated carbons, the main adsorbents used in water treatment, which are expensive and require costly regeneration , which makes them inaccessible to developing countries. • The implementation of the adsorption process in static mode at the laboratory scale of an artificial solution containing a pharmaceutical effluent (Oxytetracycline) by highlighting the influence of several parameters: _ Contact time _ Mass of adsorbent _ Initial concentration of the effluent, the pH on the adsorption capacity of this antibiotic on our adsorbent material (Luffa)
