Résumé: The current study aimed to reveal the level of teaching competencies among teachers of physical education and sports in the middle stage, as well as to reveal the level of achieving educational competencies among middle school students under teaching according to the second generation curriculum. It also aimed to know the role of teaching competencies in achieving educational competencies among middle school students in The second generation curriculum remained, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of teachers of physical education and sports in the intermediate stage in the state of Mostaganem, whose number is estimated at 40 teachers, who were randomly selected, in addition to the fourth-year intermediate students who study under the sample of teachers, as their number reached 1,200 male and female students. They were chosen randomly. The researcher also used a questionnaire to measure the teaching competencies of physical education and sports teachers, and a questionnaire to measure the educational competencies of middle school students. The results of the study reached the following -The level of teaching competencies among teachers of physical education and sports in the intermediate education stage while teaching using the second generation curriculum is high. -The level of achieving cognitive educational competencies among middle school students while teaching the second generation curriculum is low. - The level of achieving the educational skills, skills and emotional competencies among middle school students under teaching using the second generation curriculum is high. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of achieving cognitive educational competencies among middle school students depending on the variable of the teaching competencies of their teachers, in favor of the high level. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of achievement of educational skill competencies among middle school students depending on the variable of the teaching competencies of their teachers and in favor of the high level. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of achievement of emotional educational competencies among middle school students depending on the variable of the teaching competencies of their teachers and in favor of the high level. The teaching competencies of physical education and sports teachers have a role in achieving the educational competencies of middle school students under the second generation curriculum.
