Résumé: ملخص: يُعتبر إيمانويل لفيناس من المفكرين المهمين في الفلسفة الأخلاقية المعاصرة، حيث تحدى الفهم التقليدي للأخلاقيات والعلاقات واستخدم التفكير الناقد للتساؤل حول أسس الميتافيزيقا الغربية، خاصة فيما يتعلق بالفهم الأنطولوجي والمعرفي، بدلاً من البحث عن حقائق مطلقة أو كونية. ورؤيته للتفكير الناقد تتجاوز الأسس التقليدية للمنطق والعقلانية لتشمل الأخلاقيات كأساس للفهم والتفاعل الإنساني وبتقديمه الأخلاقيات كفلسفة أولى، كما ركز وأكد على الآخر والوجه كعناصر أساسية في العلاقات الإنسانية الأخلاقية. أما الوجه فليس مجرد سمة فيزيائية بل هو تعبير عن الضعف والتعرض للأذى، مما يدعونا إلى المسؤولية والاهتمام، كما قدم نقدًا للفكرة القائلة بأن الوعي الذاتي هو الأساس الوحيد للمعرفة والأخلاق، وبدلاً من ذلك، يقترح أن العلاقة مع الآخر هي المفتاح لفهم الذات والعالم. Abstract: Emmanuel Levinas is considered an important thinker in contemporary moral philosophy, as he has challenged traditional understandings of ethics and relationships and used critical thinking to question the foundations of Western metaphysics, especially with regard to ontological and epistemological understanding, rather than searching for absolute or universal truths. His vision of critical thinking goes beyond the traditional foundations of logic and rationality to include ethics as a basis for understanding and human interaction, and by presenting ethics as the first philosophy. He also focused and emphasized the other and the face as basic elements in moral human relations. As for the face, it is not just a physical feature, but rather an expression of weakness and exposure to harm, which calls us to responsibility and attention, as he presented a critique of the idea that self-awareness is the only basis. For knowledge and ethics, insteadIt implies that the connection with others is central to comprehending both oneself and the world.
