المجاز اللغوي في قصيدة البردة للبوصيري

Résumé: This research dealt with one of the most important problematics of rhetoric, which is linguistic metaphor, and that was the focus of attention of many linguists because of its relation to the sciences of the Qur’an. This research aims to know the significances of the linguistic metaphor in El-Burdah poem, and from it we find ourselves facing a major problematic, which is: What are the significances of the linguistic metaphor in El-Burdah poem? Sub-problems branch out from it, namely: What is the linguistic metaphor? And what are its sections? This research contained a preamble, through which I dealt with the definition of metaphor in both its mental and linguistic types, and the first chapter dealt with the sections of the linguistic metaphor, the metaphor and the metonymy, and the second chapter was applied, as the Burdah poem was the subject of the study, from which the metaphor and metonymy were extracted, and their implications in the poem. The study was indicative, it adopted the descriptive analysis as a method for the study. Through this topic, I reached the following results: - The poem is consisted of ten parts, the meaning of which differed from one part to another, so the metaphor in the first part indicated the miserable state that he reached from his passion to his beloved in Salam, while the significance of the metaphor in the second part indicated the danger of following oneself and fancy and warned of them, until I reached the tenth and final part, in which the metaphor indicated his weakness, his confession of guilt, and the hope of the Lord's mercy and forgiveness.
