Etude Lithologique Et Petrophysique De La Région De Bir Sebaa Hassi Messaoud
Résumé: SONATRACH and PETROVIETNAM have announced the confirmation by positive delineation drilling BRS-6 bis of the extension of the BIR SBAA deposit discovered in 1997 at TOUGGOURT (Block 433 a - 416 b). A recent discovery has shown the excitement of a secondary petroleum system in the lower Ordovician age sandstone levels (QUARTZITE D'EL HAMRA) BIR SBAA reservoirs are still problematic in the identification of Facies and the deposit pattern of the EL HAMRA QUARTZITE formation. There is a very clear link between facies and reservoir quality. Rocks of better reservoir quality are systematically associated with river channels for the TRIAS, plateau mudstones and buried sandstones for the Ordovician and Cambien.
