أثر قياس إستقلالية البنك المركزي على المؤشرات الاقتصادية الكلية – دراسة حالة الجزائر – للفترة ( 1990-2019)
Résumé: This study aims to shed light on the independence of central banks and their role in enhancing the effectiveness of monetary policy and maintaining price stability, in order to achieve the desired goals the impact on macroeconomic variables. With the (CWN) standard and the macroeconomic indicators represented in: inflation, economic growth, unemployment and the exchange rate for the period (1990-2020), and we reached a set of results, the most important of which were: The first law that established the independence of the Bank of Algeria is Law 9-10, and that The independence of the Bank of Algeria has been affected by the amendments to the monetary and credit laws, Law 17-10 struck the independence and credibility of the Bank of Algeria, which was confirmed by its lack of political independence, while its operational independence was enhanced, embodied in its ability to absorb liquidity surpluses and its success in fighting inflation. As for the standard results, we find that there is no relationship between the independence of the Bank of Algeria and these variables.
