Résumé: The study aims to know the role of the guidance counselor in reducing the phenomenon of school violence among students of the first year of secondary school at Khaled bin Al-Walid Badrar Secondary School. The statistical treatment was carried out using the statistical program for social sciences (spss) and the study reached the following results The guidance counselor has a role in reducing the phenomenon of school violence. - The supervision and follow-up of the guidance counselor contributes to reducing the phenomenon of school violence. The guidance counselor contributes to monitoring the forms and manifestations of school violence. - The guidance counselor contributes to supporting a positive dialogue with the students
