Résumé: باللغة العربية: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز كيفية مساهمة التأمين في تحقيق متطلبات قضية التنمية المستدامة، باعتبار أن صلب عمل التأمين يتجسد في إدارة الأخطار، بالإضافة إلى استجابة شركاته للعديد من القضايا البيئية والاجتماعية ومسائل الحوكمة على مستويات ومقاييس مختلفة خاصة في السنوات الأخيرة. حيث انضمت العديد من شركات التأمين في العالم إلى مبادرة التمويل لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة المتمثلة في مبادئ التأمين المستدام( PSI)، والتي تهدف إلى الحد من الأخطار بفضل تطوير حلول مبتكرة، وتحسين أداء الأعمال داخل المؤسسات، بالإضافة إلى إدماج المعايير الاقتصادية والبيئية ومعايير الحوكمة ( ESG) ضمن سياسة شركات التأمين واستراتيجيتها. باللغة الانجليزية: The aim of this study is to highlight the contribution of insurance to meeting the requirements of the cause of sustainable development, given that the core of insurance's work is risk management, in addition to its companies' response to numerous environmental, social and governance issues at various levels and standards, particularly in recent years. Many insurance companies around the world have joined the United Nations Environment Programme's funding initiative represented by "the Principles of Sustainable Insurance (PSI)", which aims to reduce risk by developing innovative solutions, improving corporate performance within institutions, and integrating economic and environmental standards and norms.
