Résumé: This study aims to identify the social and demographic factors that affect women's fertility. By presenting and analyzing data on married women of childbearing age in the municipality of Al-Maqarin, Touggourt Province, the questionnaire was distributed to the respondents and included 105 respondents who met the conditions, in order to know the extent of the impact of women's work on their fertility and compare working and non-working women. This was done using some simple and complex tables and testing hypotheses statistically, proving the relationship between the variables and studying the effect between them, if any. From this, the following results were reached: There is no relationship between women's work and the number of women, and that women's work affects their exposure to miscarriage and complications during pregnancy and increases the chances of childbirth, which indirectly affects the decrease in women's fertility.
