الزواج في بلاد المغرب القديم من خلال اعترافات القديس أوغسطينوس Marriage In Ancient Maghreb Through The Confessions Of Saint Augustine

Résumé: يُعتبر القديس أوغسطينوس واحدًا من أبرز الشخصيات الفكرية في تاريخ بلاد المغرب القديم، حيث تظل مؤلفاته التي تعد بالمئات غنية ومؤثرة حتى يومنا هذا في الكنائس والمكتبات. في هذه الدراسات، تناولنا حياة أوغسطينوس وبعضًا من أهم أعماله الفكرية، مع التركيز على كتابه "الاعترافات" لتحديد الأسس والأركان التي قام عليها الزواج في بلاد المغرب القديم. من خلال عرضه للزواج كركن أساسي من الحياة الاجتماعية، يقدم أوغسطينوس نظرة فريدة على هذا الموضوع. يُلاحظ أن موضوع الزواج لم يُتناول بشكل واسع في الدراسات العربية عكس الأجنبية، لذا سعيت لتقديم سياق تاريخي شامل لتطور مفهوم الزواج حسب رؤية أوغسطينوس. استعرضت هذه الدراسة تعريفات الزواج المختلفة التي قدمها أوغسطينوس والتي تعكس تحولاته الفكرية حتى استقراره على المسيحية. كما تناولت موضوع الخطوبة مستندة إلى النماذج المذكورة في "الاعترافات"، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة أركان الزواج مثل سن الزواج والزواج المختلط وغيرها. في الختام، تطرقت إلى ظاهرة اتخاذ الخليلات كأحد العوامل التي كانت تحد من انتشار الزواج وتؤدي إلى العزوف عنه Saint Augustine is considered one of the most prominent intellectual figures in the history of ancient Maghreb, with his numerous works, counted by the hundreds, still rich and influential in churches and libraries to this day. In these studies, we examined the life of Augustine and some of his most significant intellectual works, focusing on his book "Confessions" to identify the foundations and pillars upon which marriage in ancient Maghreb was based. By presenting marriage as a fundamental aspect of social life, Augustine offers a unique perspective on this topic. It is noted that the topic of marriage has not been widely addressed in Arabic studies compared to foreign ones. Therefore, I sought to provide a comprehensive historical context for the evolution of the concept of marriage according to Augustine's view. This study reviewed the various definitions of marriage presented by Augustine, reflecting his intellectual transformations until his establishment in Christianity. The topic of engagement was also addressed based on the models mentioned in "Confessions," in addition to discussing the pillars of marriage such as the age of marriage, mixed marriages, and others. In conclusion, I touched upon the phenomenon of concubinage as a factor that limited the spread of marriage and led to its decline.
