Résumé: The insurance of buildings against the dangers of naturaldisasters,means the guarantee of a financial assistance thatallows the familyor the instutition to continue in spite of the serious damages caused by thisnaturaldisasters. That is the aim, sought by the algerianlegislator, throught the law n° 12/03, on August 26 th 2003, related to the obligation of insuranceagainst the naturaldisaster and the compensation of the victims ; in a manner to incarnate thisidea. So, the question that arises in thiscontextis : In whatmeasures the legislator has succeeded in making the insuranceagainst the desaster an obligation ?
