The Dysfunctional Family System And Its Impact On The Emergence Of Psychosomatic Disorders: Cancer As A Prototype

Résumé: ملخص: تتناول هذه الدراسة تأثير النسق الأسري المضطرب على ظهور وتفاقم الاضطرابات السيكوسوماتية بالتركيز على دراسة حالة عيادية تعاني من سرطان الثدي، حيث تم اعتماد المنهج العيادي . تبنينا المنهج العيادي في هذه الدراسة، باستخدام المقابلة العيادية نصف موجهة واختبار الإدراك الأسري (FAT)، لتحليل وتقييم الحالة المدروسة بعمق. فمن خلال تحليل ومناقشة نتائج الدراسة، توصلنا إلى أن النسق الأسري المضطرب يلعب دورا كبيرا في ظهور وتطور الاضطرابات السيكوسوماتية، ويعود ذلك الى العوامل النفسية السلبية التي تسود داخل الأسرة المضطربة مثل الصراعات العائلية المستمرة والمتكررة، عدم الاستقرار العاطفي، غياب التواصل الفعال بين أفراد الأسرة، وكذا عوامل أخرى أدت إلى إحداث ضغوط نفسية كبيرة تؤثر بدورها على الصحة الجسدية للأفراد مما يُؤدى إلى ظهور وتفاقم المرض الجسدي. أشارت هذه الدراسة إلى أهمية فهم الديناميات الأسرية وتأثيرها على الصحة النفسية والجسدية، كما سطرنا في الأخير، أهمية تقديم الدعم النفسي والعلاجي للأسر المضطربة للحد من التأثيرات السلبية على أفرادها. Abstract: This study examines the impact of dysfunctional family systems on the onset and exacerbation of psychosomatic disorders, focusing on a clinical case involving breast cancer. We employed a clinical methodology, utilizing semi-structured clinical interviews and the Family Assessment Test (FAT) to analyze and evaluate the case. Through the analysis and discussion of the study’s results, we concluded that dysfunctional family systems play a significant role in the emergence and development of psychosomatic disorders. This is attributed to negative psychological factors prevalent in dysfunctional families, such as ongoing and repeated family conflicts, emotional instability, lack of effective communication among family members, and other factors leading to substantial psychological pressures that affect individuals’ physical health, resulting in the onset and worsening of organic diseases. This study highlights the importance of understanding family dynamics and their impact on mental and physical health. Finally, we emphasized the importance of psychological and therapeutic support for dysfunctional families to mitigate their negative effects on family members.
