Etude Des Techniques Appliquées Sur La Culture D’arachide (arachis Hypogea L.) Dans La Région Du Souf
Résumé: Study of techniques applied to groundnut cultivation in the Souf region Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is the sixth most important oilseed crop in the world. Leguminous plant produced on a large scale and consumed in many food products in different forms: seeds, oil and butter. The study of groundnut production in the Souf region through the field survey enabled us to deduce the following: Groundnuts in the crop rotation region have an important place in the crop rotation, Groundnut exploits the most degraded soils, A crop that consumes very few inputs, The yield can reach 45 qts/ha, The irrigation technique adopted is pivot center irrigation, The groundnut is treated against pests and diseases and The retention period is one year). In the second part, we characterized the Souf groundnut by biometric measurements of the pods and seeds of the three inventoried varieties. We have studied in this work the chemical characteristics of peanut oils for a contribution to a better knowledge of these oils. The extraction of peanut oil by the physical method (mechanical) and the chemical method (heating under reflux) gave the yields of 14.97% and 21.85% respectivel
