الاتجاهات الاجتماعية نحو الشيخوخة وتأثيرها على المعاش الاجتماعى والنفسى للمسنين Social Trends Towards Aging And Their Impact On The Social And Psychological State Of The Elders.

Résumé: Popular concern with ageism has been increasing in the last 20 years, as more people are aware that the number of old people is increasing more than ever before, this paper will deal with personal consequences of ageism that make it an important social issue, such as the loss of self-esteem, loss of function, inactivity, and physical and mental decline, besides the economic costs of ignoring productive abilities of old people who are forced to retire. There is, in addition to this, the social and cultural costs of ignoring the wisdom and social support and cultural resources that are available from the elders ,especially in traditional societies ,this paper will also debate the attitudes and prejudices and behaviors that old people are confronting in life, and focusing, also, on possible changing face of later life, within the dynamic context of rapid medical progress ,since ageing is believed to reshape the future of many of us, who will live long enough to experience it. تهدف هذه المساهمة إلى دراسة وتحليل الأتجاهات الإجتماعية نحو الشيخوخة في مظاهرها الجسمية و الدهنية ،التى يجسدها العجز الوظيفى وتراجع القدرات العقلية ،و إنخفاض الفعالية ، والمظاهر السلوكية التى تجسدها الأحكام النمطية التى تعكس المبادىء والقيم التى تحدد معانى الشيخوخة فى بعدها الثقافى والدينى، سواء على مستوى حجم الرعاية العائلية، أو الإهمال وإساءة معاملة المسنين ، بسبب إرتباط الشيخوخة بالمراحل الأخيرة من الحياة ، و قد كانت هده الممارسات الإجتماعية دافعا لإهتمام هذه المساهمة بالإهمال والتجاوز الذى طال الشيخوخة ، في عمق حكمتها وأهميتها كمصدر مورث وناقل للثقافة التقليدية ، خاصة أمام إمكانية نجاح فرضيات دراسة الشيخوخة بإعتماد مناهج بيوطبية عصرية تهدف إلى التحكم فى الوزن الجزيئى للخلية البشرية و تقسيمها إلى مستوى النانوغرام وإعادة التركيب الوراثى ، وهو الأمر الذى يمكن معه دفع متوسط الحياة إلى مستويات قياسية، يجعل العلوم الإجتماعية أمام حتمية إعادة تحديد مفاهيم الشيخوخة و أدوارها و وسن التقاعد و أغلب القوانين المنظمة للعقد الإجتماعى ،الذى سيكون للمسنين فيه الرأي الفاصل كفئة غالبة ديموغرافيا.
