دور خدمات الصيرفة الإسلامية في تحقيق أبعاد الشمول المالي في الجزائر للفترة 2004-2021

Résumé: This study aims at disclosing the extent of Islamic banking contribution to its both parts, banks and windows, in enhancing the financial inclusion in Algeria between 2004-2021. To meet this objective, we have adopted a case study method through an analytical study on the contribution span of Islamic windows to enhance the financial inclusion, by means of comparing the Islamic financing momentum in the banks subject to this study, together with the total balance of funding. In addition to a standard study to analyze and measure the effect of Islamic banks working in Algeria (Al-Baraka Bank, Al-Salam Bank) on the financial inclusion during this period, at both terms; short and long, relying upon the model of Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL), and Cointegration test. This standard study has encompassed two models. The first model measures the effect of Islamic banks on the financial inclusion measured by the number of automated teller machines (ATMs), which expresses the accessibility dimension. The second model measures the effect of Islamic banks on the financial inclusion measured by the number of borrowers from the commercial banks (per 1000 adults)) BR) representing the usage dimension. The findings of this analytical study have shown a vulnerable contribution of Islamic windows in supporting the financial inclusion, particularly those created after issuing laws and legislations organizing the Islamic banking in Algeria. The standard study findings however have shown no effect of Islamic banks, at both terms, short and long, on the financial inclusion measured by the number of ATMs, and no effect of Islamic banks on the financial inclusion measured by the number of borrowers from the commercial banks (per 1000 adults) ) BR), at short and long terms.
