Résumé: يعد ميناء فليب فيل (سكيكدة حاليا) من أهم الموانئ الجزائرية خلال الحقبة الاستعمارية الفرنسية فهو ميناء تجاري وأيضا ميناء لصيد السمك، ويعتبر أقرب موانئ شرق الجزائر لمدينة مرسيليا الفرنسية ويبعد عنها بحوالي 395 ميلا بحريا ، وازدادت أهميته مع زيادة انتاج وصادرات المنتجات الزراعية والمعادن والمحروقات في الجزائر. وبتعبر ميناء فليب فيل ذو أهمية كبيرة شرع في انشاءه وتوسيعه منذ 1860م وارتبط بمناطق إنتاج المواد المختلفة التلية والصحراوية بشبكة من الخطوط البرية والحديدية ، وأصبح قادرا على استيعاب حجما ضخما من الصادرات المتمثلة أساسا في المواد الزراعية والخامية والطاقوية مثل الحبوب والخمور والخشب والمعادن والبترول والغاز الطبيعي أما الواردات فكانت متنوعة مثل المواد الغذائية ومواد البناء والمواد المصنعة والآلات . ونتيجة لاستراتيجية موقعه وارتباطه بمناطق الإنتاج والتصريف الفرنسية والعالمية لعب دورا بالغ الأهمية في تنمية اقتصاد الجزائر وفرنسا . The port of Philippe-Ville (currently Skikda) was one of the most important Algerian ports during the French colonial period. It served as a commercial port as well as a fishing port. It is the closest port in eastern Algeria to the French city of Marseille, located approximately 395 nautical miles away. Its significance grew with the increase in the production and export of agricultural products, minerals, and hydrocarbons in Algeria. The port of Philippe-Ville holds great importance, with its construction and expansion beginning in 1860. It was connected to various production areas, both inland and in the Sahara, through a network of roads and railways. The port became capable of handling a significant volume of exports, primarily consisting of agricultural products, raw materials, and energy resources such as grains, wines, wood, minerals, petroleum, and natural gas. Imports were diverse and included foodstuffs, construction materials, manufactured goods, and machinery. Due to its strategic location and connections to production and distribution areas in both France and the world, the port played a crucial role in the economic development of Algeria and France.
