Résumé: تتمتع مدينة عنابة بموقع ممتاز حيث ترتبط بمناطق الإنتاج الزراعية الحبوب والنبيذ في السهول القريبة والخامات المعدنية في الحوض المنجمي في منطقة تبسة ، وعنابة مدينة مطلة على البحر ، وتمتلك ميناء كبير كانت له أهمية بالغة منذ الفترات السابقة للاحتلال الفرنسي ، وعملت السلطة الحاكمة بعد احتلال عنابة 1832 على تطويره وتوسيعه لاستيعاب الحجم الكبير من الصادرات الزراعية والمعدنية والواردات من المواد الاستهلاكية والصناعية وغيرها. وموضوع البحث بالغ الأهمية يتناول المبادلات التجارية في الجزائر عبر ميناء عنابة وهو جزء من التاريخ الاقتصادي للجزائر خلال فترة الاحتلال الفرنسي ، يعتمد البحث على احصائيات دقيقة من مصادر أرشيفية تبرز دور الميناء في دعم اقتصاد الجزائر وفرنسا .
