Résumé: The importance of the research is to shed light on the benefits and added values that countries obtain from developing renewable energy resources, in line with the goals of the green economy, by investing in renewable energies, In addition to explaining the main advantages of renewable energies In being inexhaustible, clean and environmentally friendly sources of energy and reducing the rates of use of traditional energy, and preserving it as a strategic reserve for future generations. It has been shown that the green investment trend is a quantum leap that could lead to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. In the investment scenario, in which 2 percent of GDP is invested in key sectors of green investment, more than half of that investment is allocated to increasing energy efficiency and expanding the production and use of renewable energy resources, and the result is a 36 percent reduction in global energy intensity by 2030 كمن أهمية البحث في تسليط الضوء على الفوائد والقيم المضافة التي تحصل عليها الدول من تنمية مصادر الطاقة المتجددة، بما يتوافق مع أهداف الاقتصاد الأخضر، وذلك من خلال الاستثمار في الطاقات المتجددة، بالإضافة إلى شرح أهم مزايا الطاقات المتجددة. في كونها مصادر طاقة لا تنضب ونظيفة وصديقة للبيئة وتقليل معدلات استخدام الطاقة التقليدية، والحفاظ عليها كاحتياطي استراتيجي للأجيال القادمة. لقد ثبت أن اتجاه الاستثمار الأخضر يمثل نقلة نوعية يمكن أن تؤدي إلى انخفاض كبير في انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة. وفي سيناريو الاستثمار، الذي يتم فيه استثمار 2 في المائة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في القطاعات الرئيسية للاستثمار الأخضر، يتم تخصيص أكثر من نصف هذا الاستثمار لزيادة كفاءة الطاقة وتوسيع إنتاج واستخدام موارد الطاقة المتجددة، والنتيجة هي 36 في المائة. خفض كثافة الطاقة العالمية بحلول عام 2030.
