المقاربات الحديثة في الدراسات الدينية عند إسماعيل راجي الفاروقي - دراسة تحليلية-

Résumé: ملخص: يعد الهدف الأساسي من هذه الدراسة هو تسليط الضوء على أهم المقاربات الحديثة التي اعتمدها إسماعيل راجي الفاروقي في دراسة الأديان، فهو يعتبر بحق من الشخصيات العلمية الإسلامية البارزة بالولايات المتحدة بمجال الدراسات المقارنة للأديان في العصر الحديث؛ تميز في دراسته للأديان بتعدد توظيف المناهج التي نذكر منها: المنهج الفيلولوجي، والمنهج الفينومينولوجي مستفيدا بذلك من مقاربات العلماء المسلمين القدامى ومقاربات العلماء الغربيين الحديثة؛ وتجاوزها باستحداث منهج جديد بمبادئ عقليّة منطقيّة ذو رؤيّة إسلاميّة وهو منهج "ما وراء الدين" أو كما يطلق عليه البعض بالفينومينولوجيا الإسلامية؛ وهو امتداد لمشروعه في أسلمة المعرفة.Abstract: This study chiefly aims to shed light on the most important recent approaches to studying religions adopted by Ismail Raji al-Faruqi, a truly modern-times prominent Muslim figure in the United States in the field of comparative studies of religions. In his study of religion, he distinguished himself by the fact that he adopted multiple methods; these include the philological and the phenomenological methods. By drawing on both the approaches of early Muslim scholars and western modern scholars, al-Faruqi introduced the “meta-religion” method, also called the Islamic phenomenology, which is a new method based on rational logical principles with an Islamic vision; this is an extension of his project of the Islamization of knowledge.
