Matériaux À Bandes Interdites Photoniques Bidimensionnels : Application Au Domaine Des Capteurs
Résumé: In our end of study project we mainly presented the forbidden band of two-dimensional photonic crystals, which generate a contribution in the field of sensors. First, we started with generalities on Photonic Crystals. Therefore, we have tried to define photonic crystals and more precisely two-dimensional crystals. These new materials can prevent the propagation of light in certain directions and for energies included in what is called the forbidden band or a photonic gap. We have also studied photonic crystals formed in a hexagonal lattice so that they can be integrated into optoelectronic systems as transmission components (sensors). To do this, we used a method that relies on solving Maxwell's finite difference equations in the two-dimensional time domain FDTD-2D, which is well suited to these structures with simulation results, have been presented and discussed.
