Résumé: This study aims to identify the reality of the written press in Algeria – Al-Qafila newspaper in the citof Touggourt is an example – by monitoring the most important technological tools and uses by the newspaper’s employees, and identifying the most prominent concerns that the newspaper is concerned with. The importance of the topic is highlighted in shedding light on media work in general and written media in particular, and demonstrating the close connection between the journalism profession on the one hand and modern technologies on the other hand, especially the increasing reliance on technological tools and techniques in the work of journalistic institutions.This study is linked to achieving a set of objectives, which are as follows : -Identifying the status of daily newspapers _(el Qafila)_ in light of the presence of modern technologies in the media field. The two students ask their main question : What is the reality of the written press in Algeria, and how did Al-Qafila newspaper affect this reality ? The areas of study were : the time domain, which was after determining the plan of the research project in the month of March until June 2023. The city of Touggourt was also chosen as a geographical domain, and the human domain that we targeted were the workers of the Al-Qafila newspaper. In this study, we relied on the survey method, the questionnaire form as a tool for collecting data, and choosing a purposive sample. This study focused on three (03) axes : Personal data axis : It included questions related to gender, age, educational level, and place of residence. The first axis : It came under the title of the Algerian paper press and included 5 questions. The second axis : This topic included 5 questions related to the nature of the relationship between written journalism and electronic journalism. The third axis : It included the opinions of Al-Qafila newspaper employees, and we included 5 questions from it
