الطبيب في الوسط الاستعماري بالجزائر خلال القرن 19 بين المهام الإنسانية والدعائية

Résumé: يعتبر الطب والأطباء من العناصر البارزة، التي اعتمد عليها الاحتلال الفرنسي في سياسة الاختراق والتوغل التي انتهجها للمجتمع الجزائري والمسلم، لإدراكه أنّ هذه الوسائل غير الاعتيادية لها مفعولا وتأثيرا كبيرا في النفوس ضمن ما يعرف بالاستعمار الناعم. لقد كان للطبيب في الوسط الاستعماري بالجزائر العديد من الأدوار، جمعت بين المهام الإنسانية والدعائية لخدمة توجهات السياسة الاستعمارية الفرنسية في الجزائر. من خلال هذه الدراسة حاولت كشف إستراتيجية الاحتلال في توظيف الطب والأطباء كأداة تغلغل في الجزائر، باستغلال الظروف الصعبة للجزائريين، وكذا نضرتهم المحترمة للطبيب وثقتهم في علاجاته، وهذا ما جعل الاحتلال الفرنسي يستعمل هذه الأداة في نشر أفكاره ومبادئه. Medicine and doctors are among the prominent elements on which the French occupation relied in the policy of penetration and incursion that it pursued in the Algerian and Muslim society, due to the realization that these unusual means have a great effect and impact on the souls within what is known as soft colonialism. The doctor in the colonial milieu in Algeria had many roles, combining humanitarian and propaganda tasks to serve the orientations of French colonial policy in Algeria. Through this study, I tried to reveal the occupation’s strategy in employing medicine and doctors as a tool of penetration into Algeria, by exploiting the difficult circumstances of the Algerians, as well as their respectful look at the doctor and their confidence in his treatments, and this is what made the French occupation use this tool to spread its ideas and principles
